In short, our E-MTB range rips! While they share a name, each member of our DECOY family is unique. Choose the DECOY SN for its lightweight ride character and natural ride feel, the DECOY MX for full-support enduro riding, or the all-new DECOY for cutting-edge features, maximum power, and the latest in E-MTB technology.
No, the new DECOY is optimized and approved for a single crown fork with 180mm of travel. Using a fork with a longer axle-to-crown dimension would invalidate the warranty.
We recommend a sag setting of 28-30% to optimize your new DECOY's performance. For more personalized tips and settings, head over to our suspension setup guide to dial in your numbers.
The largest rear tire we recommend is the Maxxis Minion DHR II, 27.5" x 2.6" (approximately 722 mm diameter, with a tolerance of +/- 5 mm).
The new DECOY features an MX wheel setup, with a 29" front and 27.5" rear wheel for maximum maneuverability. It is worth noting that you cannot equip this bike with a 29" rear wheel.
The new DECOY fits the custom 475ml YT Thirstmaster 2000 bottle and cage, available separately in our webshop.
With a 4A charger, it will take 6.9 hrs to charge the 800Wh battery to 100% or 2.6 hrs to charge to 50%.
The new DECOY features an integrated battery for optimal trail performance and a sleek, clean look. A removable battery would add over a kilo in frame weight and compromise ride quality. Our custom battery mounts absorb torsional forces and eliminate noise – this is integration done right.
