Micayla Gatto

Born and raised on the North Shore, Micayla grew up getting her kicks on steep descents, technical skinnies, and hectic freeride lines. With women's freeride still growing, she shifted her focus towards racing, a change that saw her talent unfold on the world stage. After nine years on the World Cup downhill circuit, she'd racked up a series of National wins and podium finishes at the highest levels of the sport, but change was calling, and she retired from racing to focus on freeride and storytelling. From bike packing through India to winning Dirt Diaries, Micayla's journey is stacked with once-in-a-lifetime highlights, and we had to have her on the team! Surf, snow, music, and art – you name it, if there are Good Times to be had, you can bet Micayla's involved.
